UVLED Curable UV Adhesive

Most of the UV-LED curing light sources used in UV glue curing are 365 nm. The surface drying and deep curing effects are very good. The UV-LED curing light source belongs to the cold light source, almost does not contain infrared heating, so the product surface temperature rise is less than 5 degrees.

Ultraviolet light source is a cold light source, which contains less infrared rays, and the surface temperature of the irradiated products is very little, so it is especially suitable for heat-sensitive products. In addition, the life of the products of Ultraviolet light source is up to 20,000 hours, so it does not need to change the light source frequently. Also, the curing light source of Ultraviolet LED is famous for saving electricity.
Usage of UV curing adhesive:
1. Before bonding, the surface of bonded substrates should be cleaned and dried without grease.
2. Coat the UV glue on one of the surfaces, close the two planes, and irradiate with a suitable wavelength (usually 365-400 nanometers) of ultraviolet lamp or a high-pressure mercury lamp for illumination. When illuminating, we should go from the center to the periphery and make sure that the light can penetrate the base material to the bonding part.
3. When general illumination is about 6 seconds and initial positioning is carried out, the remaining glue on the workpiece is removed and then re-illuminated to complete curing.
4. Curing time should be different according to different bonding substrates, adhesive thickness and ultraviolet intensity. Users can purchase an ultraviolet intensity tester to test the light intensity before bonding in order to reduce the waste rate.
5. Temperature also has a slight effect on the activity of glue. Curing time should be prolonged when temperature is low.
6. When operating, the materials that need to be bonded should not be forced extrusion and repeated friction. Fixed tools should be used.
7. When plastics are bonded, the content of ultraviolet absorbent in plastics should be considered. Higher content will seriously affect the ultraviolet transmittance, which will also have a significant impact on the curing efficiency of glue, even lead to the glue can not be cured.
8. Low viscosity products are recommended for large area bonding. If conditions are available, it is better to purchase vacuum equipment. In order to remove bubbles and improve the yield, it is necessary to fit in vacuum environment.
Ultraviolet curing adhesive is also called ultraviolet curing adhesive. It can only be cured by ultraviolet irradiation. That is to say, when the photosensitizer in the UV adhesive is exposed to ultraviolet radiation, it will bond with the monomer. In theory, UV adhesives do not cure under the irradiation of no ultraviolet light source.
